His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed Vice Minister of Defense in February 2019 by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prior to this, Prince Khalid served as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America from April 2017 until February 2019. During this time, His Royal Highness helped usher in a new era of Saudi-U.S. relations, strengthening the existing ties between the two nations. Before serving as Ambassador, Prince Khalid was an advisor in the Saudi Embassy in Washington, and at the Ministry of Defense in Riyadh. Earlier in his career, he was an F-15 pilot and tactical intelligence officer in the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). ‎During his time at RSAF, Prince Khalid flew more than 50 combat missions as part of the international coalition‎campaign against Daesh (ISIS) in Syria, and as part of Operations Decisive Storm, and Renewal of Hope in Yemen. Prince Khalid graduated from the King Faisal Air Academy in Riyadh, and was ‎commissioned as a second lieutenant in RSAF. He received his initial pilot ‎training at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and advanced training at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbia, Mississippi. He also studied advanced electronic warfare in France.‎ His Royal Highness is married and has two children.

Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saud was born in 1951 in Saudi Arabia. He received his education in Saudi Arabia and studied engineering in the United Kingdom. He started his professional life as an engineer with the newly established Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, where he held technical and managerial positions and supervised key studies for the two industrial cities and for the industrial security and safety sector. In the 1980s, he assumed the duties of Acting Secretary General of the Royal Commission, a post he held until 1987, when he was appointed Secretary General. In January of 1991, he was promoted to the position of Chairman, a role in which he also served as Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Commission and Chairman of its Board of Directors. Ambassador Al-Saud founded the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority and served as its Chairman from 2000-2004. He presented his credentials to U.S. President Barack Obama at the White House on January 28, 2016.

His Excellency Mr. Adel Al-Jubeir was appointed the Saudi climate envoy following a royal decree in May 2022. He has also been the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs since December 2018. Prior to his current roles, Mr. Al-Jubeir was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in April 2015. Mr. Al-Jubeir was born February 1, 1962, in Majma'ah (Riyadh Province), Saudi Arabia, and attended schools in the Kingdom, Germany, Yemen, Lebanon, and the U.S. He obtained a B.A. summa cum laude in political science and economics from the University of North Texas in 1982, and an M.A. in international relations from Georgetown University in 1984. In 1987, Mr. Al-Jubeir was appointed to the Saudi Diplomatic Service and posted to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, where he served as Special Assistant to the Ambassador. In 1990-91, he was part of the Saudi team that established the Joint Information Bureau at Dhahran during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was a member of the GCC delegation to the Madrid Peace Conference in October 1991, and a member of the Saudi delegation to the Multilateral Arms Control Talks in Washington in 1992. In December 1992, he was dispatched with the Saudi Armed Forces to Somalia as part of Operation Restore Hope. Mr. Al-Jubeir was appointed Director of the Saudi Information and Congressional Affairs Office in Washington in 2000, and was named Foreign Affairs Advisor in the Crown Prince’s Court in the fall of 2000. In August 2005, the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz appointed Mr. Al-Jubeir to the position of Advisor at the Royal Court until his appointment as ambassador to the United States on January 29, 2007, a position he held until his appointment as foreign minister. Mr. Al-Jubeir was Visiting Diplomatic Fellow at the Council of Foreign Relations in New York, 1994-95. He has lectured at universities and academic institutions in the U.S. and has appeared frequently in the media. In 2006, he received an honorary doctorate in humane letters from the University of North Texas. Mr. Al-Jubeir is fluent in Arabic, English and German.

His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal served as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America from September 13, 2005 until February 2, 2007. Prince Turki was born on February 15, 1945 in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He began his schooling at the Taif Model Elementary and Intermediate School. In 1963, he graduated from The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He subsequently pursued an undergraduate degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Prince Turki was appointed an Advisor in the Royal Court in 1973. From 1977 to 2001, he served as the Director General of the General Intelligence Directorate (GID), the Kingdom’s main foreign intelligence service. In 2002, he was appointed Ambassador of to the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz. In 2005, Prince Turki was appointed Ambassador to the United States on July 20, 2005. He presented a copy of his credentials to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in New York City on September 12, 2005. Prince Turki presented his credentials to President George W. Bush at the White House on December 2, 2005. He served as Ambassador to the United States until February 2, 2007. His Royal Highness is involved in a number of cultural and social activities. He is one of the founders of the King Faisal Foundation and is the chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in Riyadh. He is also co-chair of the C100 Group, which has been affiliated with the World Economic Forum since 2003.

Prince Bandar served as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States of America from October 24, 1983 to September 8, 2005. Prince Bandar was appointed Chief of General Intelligence by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah on July 19, 2012 and has served as Secretary-General of the National Security Council from October 16, 2005-January 29, 2015. Prince Bandar was born in Saudi Arabia on March 2, 1949, at Taif, the summer capital of the Kingdom, the son of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation, and Inspector-General. He is married to Princess Haifa Bint Faisal. He has four sons and four daughters. Prince Bandar was appointed Ambassador to the United States by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on September 27, 1983 and presented his credentials to President Ronald Reagan on October 24, 1983. On August 7, 1995, he was promoted to the rank of Minister. During his tenure in Washington, Prince Bandar served as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps. Prince Bandar graduated from the British Royal Air Force College at Cranwell, England, in 1968 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). He received pilot training in the United Kingdom and the United States, and has flown numerous fighter aircraft including the JP 3-4, T-38, T-33, F-5, F-53/55, F-102, and the F-15. During his seventeen-year military career he attained the rank of lieutenant colonel, commanded fighter squadrons at three RSAF bases, and undertook program management responsibilities in the major RSAF modernization project Peace Hawk. In addition, Prince Bandar carried out special assignments in Washington, DC, during the debates between the U.S. administration and the Congress concerning the sale to Saudi Arabia of F-15s in 1978 and of AWACs in 1981. In 1982 he was assigned to Washington, DC, as the Kingdom's defense attaché. Prince Bandar completed his postgraduate work in several U.S. military schools including staff courses with the Air Command and Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, and with the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at Fort McNair in Washington, DC. He received his master's degree in international public policy from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, Washington, DC, in 1980. As special envoy for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Prince Bandar was involved in cease-fire negotiations in the Lebanese civil war, and has been instrumental in resolving a number of regional and international crises, such as the Lockerbie incident in 1999. He was the Saudi delegate in the Gulf Cooperation Council mission observing the 1991 Middle East peace talks in Madrid, and has been a regular member of the Kingdom's delegation to the United Nations General Assembly since 1984. Prince Bandar has been awarded many medals and decorations, including the Hawk Flying Medal of Aviation, the King Faisal Medal, and the King Abdulaziz Sash, as well as honors from other nations.
